  • How do you rate the place that your loved one has been staying. When you had tried to be so careful in looking for a place that will care for them as you would if you had the resources. You decided that money was no object and surely they would provide excellent care and therapy. The facility is quite new, it's only about 10 years old. I am describing the care of my mother in law. I love her very much. Her husband and daughter go to the care home every day. Her daily schedule is to get up and eat breakfast and then go back to bed. She gets up for lunch and then goes back to bed. She gets up for dinner and, you guessed it, she goes back to bed. She may get an hour of physical Therapy. It's now become too hard to take her to the bathroom. The husband was just informed that he had one week to find a new care home. We were there 3 days and she is doing more than she has ever done. I don't speak this lightly. My husband is a physician and I am also trained in health. This place may be fine for those who can communicate and take care of themselves. It is not safe for anyone else. I would never leave another loved one here.
