We live nearby so we are annual pass holders. We enjoy taking our 1.5 year old son to this zoo. Price for day passes is a tad steep BUT I do believe this is a privately owned and funded zoo and they do have a lot to see. They do have option rides such as log flume, a couple of trains and a sky tram that I feel are a tad over priced considering you just spent $30+ a person to get in but otherwise I feel the cost of admission is worth what you get. Plus they have some aquarium buildings, a stingray petting area and a new sea lion show which really makes the cost worthwhile. You can easily spend the better half of the day walking the grounds here. Not only is this a good place to take the kids but it would also make for a great first date place.
