The thought of getting a car is exciting. What turns people off about getting a new car is dealing with a salesman. When I decided that I wanted a new car I did some checking around in my own area. (So Cal) We got a couple of bites and decided to meet with a salesman whom we thought was on the up and up. He was nice but he ended up to be full of crap!
I had a specific car in mind with a certain color and options. There was not one in the So Cal area that had what I wanted. Most of the salesman we did deal with were flaky. Big ol' weenies claiming to have the car I wanted but just to get me into their dealership. I was getting absolutely sick of salesmen. I decided to do a check for the vehicle I wanted in the Phoenix area. The one I was looking for was at Chapman. I received an email shortly after putting my request. We talked to Tyler May. He seemed to be honest and trustworthy. We put a down payment on the car to make sure no one else could claim it. We drove up over the weekend. We did expect to have some hidden fees/agendas from the dealership because of the past one we dealt with. Especially since they knew I wanted the car badly and was willing to do a 5 hour drive to get it.
I cannot tell you enough how pleasant the experience was. He was absolutely genuine. I got exactly what I wanted. I had a trade-in as well. It all went smooth as eggs. :) There was absolutely no hidden agendas/fees whatsoever. I am just so pleased with the service and personnel of this dealership. This dealership seems to have a great camaraderie with their co-workers and well as their customers.
Whenever I decide to put myself into this type of situation again.... I will definitely find myself thinking of how great Tyler May was and how the Chapman dealership exceeded my expectations. :)
