Wow, what a unique experience! I've been to other music festivals like Sasquatch. What I love about LIB is the emphasis on music AND art! They transform street blocks in Downtown Las Vegas into a completely different environment with 3d art installations, a ferris wheel, and huge stages.
The lineups are always great. They have a wide range of music - from alternative to hip hop. The musicians are more well-known as the night progresses. The stages are far enough apart that I couldn't hear two at once. It was also surprisingly easy to make our way to the front when we wanted to.
There are lots of food vendors that are usually local to Las Vegas. You'll pay around $10-12. They do have vegan options! Drinks are pricey close to the stages. You can walk to container park for $4-6 beers versus $10 beers.
Outside of the festival, there are promotions and events. This year, The Downtown Grand had $1 beers for all LIB wristband holders! You can only reenter the festival once, so use it wisely!
Near the stages, the bathroom options are porter potties. In container park, there are actual bathrooms.
Parking is pricey. We used Lyft to avoid the hassle. Beware of surge pricing thought!
Overall, LIB is an amazing festival that every Las Vegan should experience!
