| - I moved in knowing the staffing was awful. I knew because when I came out here on the 1st I had to be out of my apartment by the 14th and I told them this. They had doors locked on open business days for an entire week I kept coming by and calling with no success, I was about to be homeless. I contacted a manager one time to figure out what the hell was going on and if u could have vinyl put in the apt i haven't been shown yet, she said yes over the phone that it would be taken care of. I get here on the 12th and finally speak to someone because someone answered the phone, but it's too late and I'm stuck with a dog on the first floor with carpet. It is disgusting and unsanitary. Smells like shit in here and it's because what I requested went ignored. I didn't even get to see the apartment before I signed the lease, the lady went to look at it and said it's beautiful and gave me the keys. I realized at this point i have been hosed and it was this or being homeless. The carpet smells really bad, one of the electric sockets for the light doesn't even work in the bathroom and they've already been by to replace a water heater and when I moved in the disposal had metal in it that took 3 days to fix while my apartment stunk of rotten food. I'm still having to pay for all these mistakes this place made from not putting in vinyl. I'm supposed to pay 695 a month but I pay 800 a month for all the added "services" like 25 a month to let garbage rot outside for "valet" and unexplainable charges for a 1 bedroom with an a.c. unit that shakes the entire building when it comes on and wakes me up cause it's right outside my back patio and the a.c. unit belongs to this apt. This place is a nightmare right now. Im paying higher than I did for electricity for a 1bedroom 700 sq ft vs 90 a month for a 2 bedroom 1100 sq ft apartment i moved from so it's like the entire buildings bill is generated cost and split between the people. I barely even use my a.c., I keep it on 78-85 degrees, mostly its off, and all my lights are usually off on my apartment, but still i pay 145-150? Come on. Maintenance seems to do a good job though. It's also fair to mention that you need to be careful checking your mail, you might get a business opportunity to buy black tar heroin....thats what I get for checking my mail...They are also not going to replace an a.c. unit that is clearly about to go out and even the maintenance man agreed. He said the apartments won't replace it till it goes out, it sounds like someone is firing up a huge generator to light up a small town. So I have to wait until it goes out and I'm without a.c. similar to a man that had to wait 3 days when my water heater went out, they hadn't even gotten to him in 2 or 3 days this man had no a.c. I guess I have to wait for my turn to suffer.
