| - I know this is mainly a bar for drinking and watching sports, but they serve up some especially bad tasting and horribly prepared food here.
I initially ordered the steak and mushroom pie, I had it sent away since they felt the need to only put two pieces of steak in the entire pie. The fish and chips I got instead was so flavorless and overly battered. It was noted by my other companions that it looked like I was eating a baked potato with how much batter I was digging through just to eat some fish. The fries were unseasoned, soggy, not crisp, and straight out of a Ore-Ida bag.
Is salt and pepper illegal in Britain? Since I was with my buddies, I was able to try other things at the table. Nothing was seasoned and didn't have any taste unless it was drowning in their brown gravy or came with a dipping sauce. Out the can peas were on both of my plates. Barely warm, no salt, no pepper, no butter, no olive oil.
After paying 18+ bucks for food and drinks, and being stuck eating mostly french fries and overly battered onion rings, I left knowing I wont be coming back here.
