  • Gem in the midst of downtown Phoenix. Charming house turned restaurant. The staff was welcoming. We ordered the pork chile stew as an appetizer to share. Rather than serve us one bowl the chef/server spilt up the portions (I love when they do this)! We even got out own tortillas. The stew was spicy and served hot. My husband ordered the north beach sandwich. The fresh mozzarella and pesto took over most the flavor but was well worth it. I ordered the veggie sandwich with field greens and did not leave hungry or disappointed. The veggies were roasted to perfection and were very accommodating to the season. The field greens were dressed with the most delicate and flavorful of dressings. We'll be back as practically everything on the menu sounds delicious.
