| - Our wedding was almost ruined though their complete incompetence. My wife contacted this flower shop months ahead, paid the lady in full weeks ahead, this is what happened in a meeting 3 days before the wedding:
- The lady confesses that "if they hadn't walked through that door she would have COMPLETELY forgotten about making the test samples". We have already paid her in full at this time, and she forgot about the meeting entirely, even we had talked to her ONE day before.
- We gave her 2 rolls of cellophane we had bought ourselves so she can use them for our arrangement. Well, she used OUR material for other clients on Mother's Day. When we asked if she was going go buy that herself, she said no, that we had to buy it again or she would add that cost as an expense if she had to buy it herself. The NERVE! She made money off of material WE bought intended for OUR order!
- We waited in that meeting 3 days before the wedding for her to make the test sample. She did not have the flowers we ordered and just threw together a generic arrangement that looked nothing like what we had paid her for. She tried justifying this by saying that this looked better anyway.
At this point, we had paid her in full, she didn't have the right flowers, she profited from material we provided by using it for other clients, and my wife was letting her frustrations known. Instead of being professional by trying to solve the problem she said she was too busy with other clients anyway and she had a big wedding the day after our wedding she was working on.
She was basically about to neglect the order entirely!
My wife was able to keep her cool long enough for them to deliver the flowers for our wedding. However, they were NOT what we had ordered, the flowers were in poor condition, a lot of them were already wilting.
AVOID this flower shop like the plague, especially for weddings. I don't know how they are still in business.
