  • I have to give this place 4 stars because it seemed not too far off in taste from my favorite ramen spot, Shoki Ramen in Sacramento. I got my usual, shoyu ramen without meat, and was not disappointed. Their noodles were not too cooked, which is just to my liking. Also, I thought the broth was pretty tasty. I had no idea, though, how tiny the place is! We got there just a few minutes after opening, and all the tables were already taken. We had to sit on bar stools which was a little bit uncomfortable, especially since I was wearing a short dress on the hot day we went. Business was pretty steady at lunch time - tables/bar stools did not stay empty for very long at all. And it seemed like everyone ordered their fried rice - maybe I missed out on something?
