| - Horrible experience. I travel all the time for work and pleasure and have never had a miserable situation like returning the car to Budget at Cleveland, OH, airport. First, the only person checking in cars was the same person checking OUT cars. Back and forth from one side of the booth to the other. Then, we don't get a receipt, we get a statement saying "we are unable to process your car return at this time". It DOES show that we bought gas (showed my receipt) and that the tank was full (the agent checked). Takes 3 days to get my true receipt (online). Whereupon I find that they've charged me $70.92 for "Fuel Service." Call up. They tell me I have to email THEM copies of my gas receipts and they'll credit the money back. I ask for a supervisor. I get disconnected. Call back again; they insist I have to email, even though it's their problem. I can't understand why they can't look at their copy of the "receipt" I was given, but they insist no. So, path of least resistance; I email it back. Let's see if they actually do credit my money back. Oh, and I'm FASTBREAK and it's on my profile NO to pre-pay full. Speaking of which, my name wasn't up on the board and I had to wait in a lengthy line until I went up to ask why I wasn't FASTBREAK and they said I was; just go get a car. So it was messed up picking up the car, too.
(I haven't reviewed before on yelp but I've got a bunch on tripadvisor.)
