  • I needed passport photos with digital copies on the double, so I started mapping nearby shops. Out of the six places I called, only three bothered to pick up the phone; and of those three, Acco Photo had the lowest prices. This was not a "you get what you pay for" situation. As their website states, "you are so welcomed to our store." I walked into their clean, naturally lit space and was immediately greeted by Annie and her husband (As in, they stopped what they were doing, walk towards the counter, had genuine smiles on their faces, and said "hi."). If their old-school customer service wasn't enough to keep me there, their mounted certifications would've been ample. As a photographer, Annie was quick on the draw. She made sure to snap enough picks to have something decent to choose from; and they cleaned up my best shot without Gabourey Sidibe-ing me. 'Nough said. As a professional photo and multimedia studio, Acco Photo still shows that the small stuff is a priority by hanging a large map that displays the 288 countries whose passport specs they follow. They're multi-lingual (English, French, and Chinese...but they may have more up their sleeve), fast, knowledgable, and a place I'd definitely give my money to again.
