  • My brother gifted me a beautiful ring that needed to be resized and I need to put a new head on the main part of the ring. I brought it here because I figured they were a larger corporate company that would offer a guarantee and if something were to happen there would be no hassle getting the issue fixed. I was given a 2 week period of when my ring would be done. I received a phone call about a week in letting me know that it may take a bit longer since they did not have a head that would fit my stone and would need to order it. About a week and couple days later, I received an email letting me know my ring was ready for pick up. I drove over there and they spent a good amount of time looking for my ring. They couldn't find it so they called the lab. Turns out, the lab still hadn't received the head for my ring and they had the ring there still. Ok, that's fine. I will wait for it. Note to everyone: if you get an email and don't get a person calling you, call them to confirm your order is ready. Two days later, I received a phone call letting me know my ring was ready for pick-up. I was super excited. I got there and the ring looked beautiful. However, with things like this, I trust no one and took a close-up inspection of the ring. The brand new head, that I waited extra time for, had a triangle cut in it on one side of the head. How upsetting. I was told that they could send it back to the lab to have them fill it or I could leave with it today and wear it for a bit and then bring it back at a later date since I have the guarantee. Lets be honest, if I left with it, I would never come back. I would think that the store would not want anything but absolutely perfect work leaving the store, but I guess not. I opted to have it filled and to wait a little longer for it. I was told it would be rushed. It took another 2 weeks before I got nervous and called to check on the status because that's not a rush at all. I was taken care of by the repairs manager and he was good about figure out what was going on and calling me back and letting me know. I was told the person at the place where they do the repairs was already gone for the day and I would get a call the next day. One or another I didn't get a call the next day by the place that does the repairs, so I called again the day after. Turns out, they needed to reorder another head for my ring because they wanted to make it perfect and not just repair the new head (as a side note.. I don't get how jewelry repair/makers don't have heads of various sizes already in stock). This point recovered my opinion of the store. The repair manager said he was not going to let something out of the store that wasn't up to standards. This took my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. I am annoyed that it took this long to get my ring back. I am happy though with how the repairs manager handled my issue and the finished ring looks beautiful.
