  • We used to live in the area and go to the Frog about once a month. Standard pub, like the rest of the Firkins. Relatively good food. Some days the food is better than others. For example, we once ordered nachos and got a huge plate of nachos with cheese perfectly melted and tonnes of toppings. We went back on another day, expecting the same thing and we got a smaller serving, it was burnt on the top and soggy on the bottom. Most of the time the service is good. The drinks are alright, although their house draft (Butler's) is a real hit or miss. We've gotten a pitcher of it before (maybe the lines hadn't been cleaned) and it tasted very skunky and we couldn't get through it. Unfortunately, it's often the only relatively inexpensive beer they have on their menu.
