  • Probably the best movie theatre in downtown Toronto. There is a great restaurant overlooking Richmond... ok granted there is nothing exciting to see at least there are WINDOW seats. You can buy booze before watching Miley Cyrus. The IMAX is superb but bring ear plugs in case your ears are sensitive. It can be very loud. The popcorn... tast like anywhere else. There are two concession stands with about six cashiers - now you can imagine how busy it can get. The theatres are decent size and guaranteed not to have bed bugs (TIFF is smiling). They show Met concerts at times for opera lovers who can't afford to fly :(. And sometimes, they play UFC for those who thirst for blood - this is on top of its long line up for horror flicks. I am a fan for sure. They have refillable large pop corn too if you don't care about your weight. Easy on the iced tea... but they'd refill it in case you finished it in the middle of the movie. Pee at your own risk, the washroom can sometimes be unclean. Yuck.
