rev:text	It took me a while to calm down enough to write this, as this is the worst experience I have had with a business in a long, long time. I would never go near a U-Haul dealer again based on the service I received (or didn't receive) here. I sat with the guy named Charles going over what the whole thing would cost and told him I would rather pay for the gas I use than have to take the truck to a gas station - I'm a 61 yr old woman who has never driven even a pickup truck and I was really nervous about it, stupid, I know, but he said no problem, I was going about 22 miles and the trucks get about 10 miles per gallon and that it would come to about $8, even said he wanted to be sure I knew they would charge $4 per gallon as that was more than I would pay if I got it myself. He gave it to me at a quarter tank, which he promised me would be more than enough. It was, and I brought it back, to be told by the manager woman Rosita (?) that there was a $30 fee for bringing it back under a quarter tank. How could it not be under a quarter tank when I took it at a quarter tank? And made it clear I was not going to fill it? She was rude and told me to read my contract, told me she didn't have to help me any more, and charged my card after I left. $54 for gas. Of course Charles was no longer there. Call me stupid but when you're sitting down with somebody who is telling you what you will pay for something I believe extra $30 fees should be mentioned. And she added extra gallons that were not used just to be nasty. All in all, moving yourself is stressful, and to feel scammed and abused and taken advantage of at the end of it is just wrong. This is no way to treat customers. I see on the internet that U-Haul has quite a history of these gas scams, even had class action lawsuits etc. I don't know how they get away with it.
