  • I absolutely love this Loblaws! Well, it's more of a love-hate relationship because I hate that I always pick up more than I came in for!! Their sales and clearances are so good I end up spending an absurd amount of time in the store even if I originally came in for bleach or some other minor thing. When I see those glorious red 50% stickers planted on an awesome product, I go into some "fight or flight" animalistic mode where I'm hell-bent on robbing the store clean of their precious goods! An image, I can imagine, that's somewhat like the cartoon Tasmanian devil on a rage to hunt for "SUPER-SAVINGS" before anyone else can get to them. A bit much, huh? Let's just say that my experiences at this Loblaws makes me question if I have a shopping addiction! Thankfully, I only display this behaviour when I shop here and some other second-hand clothing stores...so it's a manageable disorder I guess :) You can't blame me when you see quality products on clearance for 50% off only because they are being discontinued...not even expired. I might have walked in during a time that staff were doing a major clean-up on inventory because I got a jaw-dropping deal on a few unpriced items that did not scan and could not be traced in the stock registry. They were basically given away free. Mama like :) Gimme mo' of that! As a bonus, employees are always friendly and helpful. Just a tip, however, if you get the clearance items it's better you just go check out at the customer service desk. The discount has to be entered manually sometimes and some cashiers may not be savvy to that...leaving you to be the cause of a long wait on a price check in a long line up while the cashier is having a mini-meltdown trying to figure out how to suspend a transaction. No, no, we don't want that, do we? Save the drama for the bedroom! Happy shopping :)
