Service department is terrible.
I have a 2013 Explorer and the air conditioning is rather week. I went online to their website to setup an appointment. I made sure to select an actual service advisor as opposed tho the quick lube team. It gave me the option of picking today at 3:00 pm. I did. It then gave me options like 'drop off car', 'waiting', 'needs shuttle'.
I selected 'waiting' and received an email stating the details about my appointment. I then received at least one text confirming my appointment.
So.... today, at 2:45, I arrive and ask for my service advisor, Eric Thompson. I wait close to 10 minutes before he shows up. He asks what I need and I explain. He says to himself "I thought I had everyone checked in already". I knew I was in trouble,
He then asks if someone was picking me up or if I need a ride on the shuttle. I explained I was waiting for the car. He said 'no', and that the car wouldn't even be looked at until tomorrow afternoon. Seeing as I will be half way to Vegas tomorrow at noon, that won't work!
I explained what the web site said and he basically said that was too bad and no matter what, they wouldn't be done with it in 2 hours. I asked why the website said that the service hours were until 7? He said, that was only the quicklube techs. He then offered me a ride home.
I drove myself home. I will never go there again for sales or service.
