  • I just found out THIS LOCATION IS CLOSING in May 2017. I am so disappointed in Trader Joe's for this. It's the second oldest location in Vegas and it is always busy. According to the staff, this store is merely "relocating" to Summerlin, but if you look at a map of Las Vegas, there are ZERO locations in central Vegas, i.e. Trader Joe's is abandoning any neighborhood not named Summerlin or Henderson. Meanwhile, central Vegas is being re-developed, great new businesses have opened and people are migrating to the urban core. Honestly, I think Trader Joe's has decided that this neighborhood isn't "desirable" or affluent enough for them, so they're abandoning loyal local customers who will now have to drive 3 or 4 times as far.
