  • I went to a nearby shop for an oil change. Let's just call them "Liffy Jube". The tech (without even asking me the year of my car) loudly announced, "This thing takes full synthetic oil and that's gonna be a minimum of $80." I said "Thanks, but no thanks" and drove away. I noticed MITCH'S LUBE n' TUNE and pulled in. This is important, I did NOT mention my "less than stellar" experience at the other place. I figured, let's see if they pull a fast one, too. They looked under the hood to determine the type of oil I needed (turns out, it was NOT full synthetic). They even charged me a few bucks less than originally quoted because my oil filter was a lower-end model. They had me in and out in under 30 minutes. The waiting area is stocked with cold waters, books to read, etc. Everyone, from the Technician to the cashier, was super pleasant and helpful. I won't take my car anywhere else, now. Best of all, they do all sorts of auto work, not just oil changes!
