I am glad a friend wanted to try Honey Salt. The last time I went was when they first opened and there have been many improvements. Our hostess and server where both great and attentive. They even let us do happy hour in the dining room since our friends joined us with their baby. The Happy Hour Menu was decent... drinks and food running between $6-8, AND it is everyday 3-6pm!
We split two entrees of fried chicken dinner which was more than plenty for one person. BYW, the chicken was PERFECTLY seasoned, crisp on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The menu isn't huge, but well thought out. There is atleast one dish of every meat, and I think a vegetarian entree too.
Not sure if we had an awesome server, or it all server are like this, but we didn't get nickeled and dimed us with splitting charges or that we were not in the "proper" area for Happy Hour. They definitely accommodated, and I am sure to be back.
