  • I've had a bad experience with this place and no new experiences that really put it above the bar. Everytime I go I get disappointed. I've been to both the Fitchburg and the downtown Madison locations and pretty much had the same or worse experience. One time me and a group of people came in a little late in the night for food the waitress had a severe attitude problem right off the bat would not split the check forced us to have a 30% tip which I understand since it was kind of late and we were large group. What really made it bad though is the fact of waitress kept sighing, rolling her eyes making exasperated gasps at everything we would say ask or do. The manager came out at one point checked on how everything was we complained, some of our food was cold since it wasn't cooked to order and on top of that the manager seemef to smile sarcastically. So aside from that bad experience which set the bar for this entire place, the other experience I had was extremely mediocre. When I went with a friend who I hadn't seen a long time just to get a pitcher of beer asking any question about what beers they had or if they had a certain beer visibly pissed off the lady behind the counter or frustrated her. Seems they only hire women with good looks for their waitstaff and ignore anything about customer service personality or general manners. Do yourself a favor go to one of the actual local places around Madison support them, their friendly staff, their less questionable hiring practices and avoid the generic trap that is all Great Danes in Madison.
