  • I recently made an appointment with the Phoenix Studio for the first time for a highlight, cut and blow-dry with whoever was available. They set me up with Lynette and I absolutely love her. She has such an amazing personality, and since legitimate blonde highlights have never been my thing (haven't had them since I was fourteen) and I was nervous she helped calm my nerves. She also informed me that with my tone of brown hair I might need a toner to bring up the right tone of golden blonde I wanted and told me it would be 20 dollars, which was fine. She kept talking to me and asking me about my life and it really helped distract my from my own thoughts, and before I knew it she was done. It probably took about 45 minutes to an hour. She washed me out (and what a fantastic head massage) and told me that I actually wasn't going to need the toner which was awesome! Then we got to the cut and good lord! I hardly had to explain to her what I wanted, just something to layer up my old one length hair and it came out beautifully. It was actually the exact cut I had gotten a few years back that I loved, and I didn't have to explain it. And the blow dry looked amazing! I will tell you right now, I think I found a keeper in this stylist and I will be coming back to her for my touch ups from here on out!
