First time having an arepa, and oh my god it was like heaven in my mouth. I got the wood fire chicken arepa with avacado added, although it was not really nessisary since the meat and bread that holds it are super moist and they give you such yummy sauces to add to it. The flavors were bold and complex and I have a new favorite place. We also got the shredded beef empanadas, which were also very rich and satisfying. Way more filling than I thought they would be for the size. I also got a side of plantains and they were yummy and carmalized from the cooking process. Everything I got tasted good in the sauces they gave me, even the plantains. God I want to take these sauces home!
The location is right next to art of flavors, which was our original destination. However it wasn't open yet until 1, so when I realized one of my book marks was next door and smelled the amazingness that was coming from here, I had to try. I am so glad I did. Just a heads up they have outside seating as well.
