  • I applied with some friends to rent a 4 bedroom house with Chad Andrew and Remax after searching for weeks and watching houses get swept off the market before we could apply. I spent $125 on our application, which was "non-refundable" as we waited FIVE DAYS for any type of response. When we originally called to see about our application, the "only person who could help us wouldn't be in until noon" we called multiple times after noon on the fifth day and were finally told we were denied, and that we'd receive a call back with an explanation after the person got back from their lunch break... THEY JUST GOT TO THE OFFICE! So after wasting 5 days, and taking $125 from me, I was told no due to low credit scores but each person applying making 4 times the rent amount. When you're penny pinching while trying to save for the deposits for a new rental, every dollar and day matters. 5 days of waiting, while being told to stay optimistic "no one else has put an application in yet!". $125 I'll never see again, and an "I'm sorry" from the Remax agent, Chad Andrews, I'm extremely irate unhappy, and unsatisfied with the way we were treated. Completely unacceptable. I at least deserve a partial refund. Ridiculous.
