  • The one thing I can say is that for the most part Spherion is consistent with any other time I've signed up & worked for a temporary company. I've found working on and off for these places over the years that they follow pretty much a set pattern. You'll always have at least a two hour or more testing & interviewing phase when signing on with a temp company if going into office work. Any place they send you that will take you on for an assignment demands a drug test. Isn't it funny how they forgot to tell you NOT to overindulge in liquids since the drug test cannot be used then. I actually had one of the Spherion staff laugh at me over the phone when they told me that I would have to take another test. Who cares if its your time and effort to get the test done, right? It only means you have to go to the Spherion office to pick up the paperwork, go have the test done at the clinic and wait until they call you. They may or may not have assignments which may or may not pay which may or may not be within a reasonable distance from where you are living. Sometimes they may accommodate you if you request it. Finally do not expect any hand holding or response except the barest minimum with any of these places. I got no feedback at all after my last assignment & haven't heard from Spherion since. Found another place that has many more assignments on offer.
