| - What a nice surprise to find this hidden gem while out for a drive on a Sunday afternoon. I have no idea how long this shop has been there, but I'm so happy to know there's somewhere other than Sunrise to go for vinyl in the GTA.
I had a few albums in mind when I came through the doors, and although none of them were on the shelves (I was mostly looking for specific 90's-2000's metal, so I wasn't surprised the selection was limited), the owners said they'd be more than happy to find them and order them in for me. I decided to think a little longer about which ones I really wanted, but when I've made up my mind I'll be going back to put the order in.
And although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, I was pleasantly surprised that many genres and artists were well represented on their shelves; including the ones I like. Not always an easy task.
They also did a great job of stocking current new releases, new releases of older albums, re-issues, used originals, some rare gems, and a nice bunch of cheap ($2.50) mainstream albums.
Besides the vinyl, they also offer record cleaning services, home kits, turntables, etc.
