I was initially hesitant to have a student do my hair, but I found a Groupon for the service and decided $23 for full highlights was a good gamble. The salon was very busy but they still got me in on time. I worked with Vivian and Danielle. The students there seemed inexperienced but the trained instructors guided them through every step so there is no way anyone would walk out looking terrible. Every single step of the service was checked by an instructor and adjusted if needed so I definitely felt confident early on. Everything from the consultation, hair sectioning, bleach formulation, highlight placement, processing time, and end result were all closely monitored . I also got a haircut which was only $10 and it turned out fantastic. The instructors came by to help the stylist get the exact look I wanted and I couldn't be more pleased. High quality products and trained professionals all collaborating together to make my hair perfect was well worth the very minimal cost. I would have paid $150++ at a traditional salon. Make sure to bring cash to tip the stylist because they do not accept credit card tips.
