Looking at the menu, I was excited to try a non-chain Italian restaurant.
The atmosphere is elegant and quiet, and the wait staff attentive. The restaurant is billed as a wine bar, but not one Malbec to be found.
We enjoyed our shrimp appetizer, and the Spinach salad was interesting and well dressed. Big disappointment with both entrees. The veal Marsala was pounded so thin, that it resembled jerky breaded when it made it to the table. For $25 dollars, Olive Garden does a better job. The stuffed pork loin suffered from being dried out and virtually tasteless. The cardinal sin on both entrees was frozen, bland vegetables straight out of the steamer. The $95 bill was just a waste of money. Chef needs to get out of the 1980's and come up with better selections and plate presentation.
