  • Stayed at the Stratosphere as part of a package with Southwest. Thought I got a good deal but quickly realized why the price was noticeably lower than other casinos. There was a $20 a night resort fee on top of the package price. No complaints there. That was made clear when I initially booked. Arrived in the wee hours in the morning on a Friday (2am) and the line was down the hall! Took about 25 minutes to get through it and check in. The agent was nice and offered us an upgrade to the newly renovated rooms for an additional $20 a night. We declined. At that point, it would have added an additional $160 to the package price. As aforementioned, at that point, I could have stayed somewhere like the MGM Grand! Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Pics of our actual room are attached. It worked for our short, 4 night stay. Would not stay here again simply because I felt like in order to have a nice and clean room, I would have to pay an additional $160.
