The Ocean Prime restaurant is an upscale establishment with good service. I have been there several times for happy hour with friends. HH is a good deal. Dinner is another story.
We wanted to treat some friends to a special evening out. We all ordered the scallops, as recommended by the waiter. The salad was OK ...just ordinary. Four scallops for $35 is steep. The scallops were so salty and one still even had a few grains of sand. They were served on the mushiest risotto (with peas) that I have event had. It was obvious that word has gotten out, as there were so few patrons. None of us said anything to each other or the staff. However, with a plethora of fine restaurants in the Valley, I suggest that you dine elsewhere. The owner, wait staff, chef, and management team need to sit down and do some serious re-evaluating.
