  • Decided to give this place a try for an oil change. I called in ahead inquiring about the price and it was pretty competitive so I asked if I needed to book an appointment. The agent said there was no need and if it was my first time getting a service at that location I would need a document containing the VIN number of the vehicle. I brought in the safety check document that another Honda dealership provided with the purchase of my Civic that contained the VIN number. As I got in the service and parts department, there were two cashiers by the counter while a few mechanics were conversing with each other behind them. One cashier looked pretty busy while the other was just standing and staring everywhere but the line up forming towards the active cashier. When it was finally my turn the cashier asked "what are you here for today?" Not a hello, good afternoon or sorry for the 20 minute wait . I asked if I could do an oil change, he quickly responded "well, do you have an appointment?" I was shocked because I thought the phone agent said appointment was not necessary. I said no, he quickly dropped the conversation ran to the other side of the store and grabbed his supervisor. The supervisor was quick to defend his cashier by saying that I should have an appointment as he casually makes an excuse that they're trying to handle other appointments at the moment. He also gave me a smug asking why I brought my safety document and told me it was not good enough to make an account with them. I offered my ID, credit card info and my insurance documents. After all my info was set up for a new account, he asked me to book an appointment 1-2 weeks from that day which I kindly declined since it seems there was a miss communication with the service department and the telephone agents. I understand that sometimes an establishment can get busy , but at least utilize the labor properly because clearly some staff were not having a sense of urgency to help the team as a whole. Really disappointed at how this location handles their customers and can't believe you represent such a reputable brand. I decided to get my service done at oil changers instead, drove in and got my oil change within half an hour. Super friendly team that greeted me as soon as I got through their doors and did a complimentary visual inspection of the vehicle, under the hood, top up my fluid and tested my battery. Very professional culture there and although their price was only 10-15 dollars higher, they definitely secure my next business. So if you value your time and don't want to deal with a messy unorganized service department, I would not recommend this place at all. Save your time and ignore this location.
