  • I moved into my new house in March and at first I had TWC internet service. The internet worked great for about a month then internet service would drop several times a day. So they came out and had to replace the line running to the house. They put the line in the ground but when they got to the box on the side of the house they didn't dig deep enough to run the line back through the PVC pipe coming out of the ground. They ran it out of the ground and zip tied to the front of the PVC pipe and the ran it into their box. I think it looks rushed and a lot better effort running the new cable line. Now when I have to cut my grass I have to make sure I don't damage the cable line. So I called on August 2 to upgrade to TV service. I spoke with sales person and we talked about my options. I went with their triple play package so that I could get installation for free and It also dropped the monthly price on my bill. I also told the sales person that I need a wall outlet moved and that the lines where ran in the attic and down the walls and he said that would be a wall fish and put it in the notes of the order. He never told me that was not part of the standard free installation and that it cost an $85 When the Tech arrived on site at my house on August 5th is when I was told that it would cost extra unless TWC would approve the wall fish and that I had to call them and talk to them about it. So I called and spoke to a supervisor and he was no help and that he could not waive the fee and we don't know the layout of your hose and that all he could do is just review the tape and provide better training for their sales people. I said I told the sales person about the wall fish and he acknowledged it and put it in the notes of the order and did say one word about any extra cost or not being part of a standard installation. So I had to spend my Saturday and Sunday re-arranging my living room so that I could hook my TV up. This kind of service is unacceptable for the amount of money we have to pay. I plan to change my serve to someone who will value me as a customer and not treat me like a number. So anyone looking to get TWC I would advise you look at other option because they do not tell you everything upfront. They say have improved their customer server but I think they have a long way to go.
