It's easy to miss Cafe Neon given it's understated store front, but you shouldn't! And you'll be forgiven to think it is just a coffee shop when you walk in, but the secret here is that it is actually a great brunch spot with a decent amount of seats at the back that are not visible when you walk in.
I really appreciate the fact that the restaurant do a lot of stuff in-house, such as the greek yogurt, and the smoked trout that is used in the fish cakes and in the smoked trout eggs benny. The blueberry buttermilk pakcakes though, are definitely my favorite.
I find the pricing reasonable given the quality of the food. The lattes could benefit if it were made just a tad stronger, but it could just be my taste.
