  • As a DE razor enthusiast, I came for a old timey straight razor shave. Arrived at 9am and my scheduled barber was running late. After a 15 minute wait someone else took charge and got me in the chair. The shave wasn't bad although I was left with stubble under my nose and lip which is an big negative. I admit I'm a difficult face to shave but I can do better myself. I didn't get the Baby Bum Smooth experience I was expecting from the straight razor shave. I also like strong scented creams as part of the shaving ritual. The barber used the T&H 1805 cream and aftershave on me but I couldn't really smell them. There wasn't anything that jumped out at me as being really wrong with the service, but at $66 I didn't feel I got my money's worth. I won't return. I did take heart that my technique with my DE razor must be great if I can deliver a better shave than a pro. I'll probably stick to my Baby Bum Smooth shaves with that.
