  • DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. I brought my dog here and they razor burned his balls and anal region. The groomer was careless and didn't notice her mistake. I called them and complained that I didn't pay 80 dollars for them to hurt my dog but for a premium grooming. When I picked up snowy they said Snowy was matted but only on his ears, which I payed an extra 10 dollars for them to brush the hair. They told me to go to the store to talk to the manager Michelle. Michelle told me that his balls had minor irritation because the groomer shaved too close and she initially offered me only 15% off my next grooming and some antibiotics to help with healing. I told her I want my money back and she offered to give me my next grooming free. I thought that was fair, she also gave me the so-called healing oregano oil which she told me to apply after I cleaned the region with hydrogen peroxide. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusted them. But a few days after I noticed his balls were getting more irritated and swollen. My dog was not feeling like himself, he had vomited a couple of times since the visit and he squeaked every time I applied the oregano oil on his balls and it didn't seem like it was helping. I called Michelle (the manager) back and I asked her if she would be willing to pay for my veterinary bill because I want to get snowy checked out, I thought he had a fever. She told me to stick a thermometer in his bum but I wasn't comfortable with that as I've never done that and I don't wanna hurt him more than he already is.. so I wanted to take him to the vet. She refused to help with the bill and blamed me for also not giving feeding him oregano oil orally and said the treatment was wrong. I didn't recall her ever telling me to feed it orally, but I put it on his balls. She also said whatever happens to snowy after we agreed on the free grooming is not her problem, and it's probably worse cause he keeps licking at the hurt area. She blamed me and said that he was heavily matted on balls which is why the groomer had to shave him so short, but they never mentioned this when they were talking to me about the matting they said it was only on the ears. Michelle said that I signed off on an agreement that says they're not liable for anything that happens after the grooming and it's not their problem. Even if he was matted I don't understand why they would shave him so close, why not brush him out or at least let me know they shaved too close.. they didn't know they did anything wrong until Snowy got hurt. She kept interrupting me and yelling. So we both agreed to bring snowy to the vet, i brought him 20 mins after this phone call and they told me his anal/ ball region has razor burn due to shaving too close. They said that the oregano oil wouldn't have helped my dog as it would dry out the affected area, hurt and irritate him. The vet said he should have been given a cone and that groomers like to think they know what their doing when they don't, I should have brought him immediately. They gave snowy this cream to help with his swelling and and a cone so he doesn't try to heal himself through licking because he was burned so bad. My vet bill was 85 dollars and the cream costed 60 dollars. I asked the vet to call the grooming place to help them understand their wrong doings and they said that it's a waste of time because they don't listen or care and it's happened before where owners would come from grooming and be upset that their dog has been shaved too close then burned. My advice is to not bring ur dog to this place. They refused to take responsibility that they hurt my dog and they didn't care. All I wanted was a premium grooming for my dog and all I got were his pain and suffering due to carelessness, long phone calls, and high vet bills which they refused to pay. My dog is in a cone for the next two weeks, he's shaking whenever he sits beside me and whining because his bum hurts!! If you love your dog don't bring them here. I'm so upset and all I can do is write this review because they won't compensate financially, but even that wouldn't make up for the pain and suffering my dog has gone through because of their services. Michelle the manager, will probably reply to this review. Saying she has video evidence and all she can do to save her store/ reputation. All I'm saying is my dog is hurt.. because of what they did. They will not take responsibility. Some other lady brought their cat here and the same thing happened- it's on one of the review photos. Snowy can't speak for himself, so as his owner I speak on behalf of him in saying. You guys shaved to close, it hurt him and I'm scared that you're going to hurt other pets. As much as you want you can blame me for whatever. But accept responsibility that snowy wasn't hurt before he visited you. YOU HURT HIM.
