  • This is an awesome salon! My hairdresser Kathryn moved here about a year ago and of course I moved with her. It is located in a small house in the Dilworth Area, very convenient to both uptown, Dilworth, Myers Park and Southpark areas. Each room is light and airy, and each operator has decorated it to their own taste. One of the best parts about the salon is that there is no "Salon" smell. No chemicals, perfumes, dyes etc smell! In addition to the great service you receive, they offer a big selection of magazines to read while you wait (if you have to wait at all!), and a Keurig all set up for complimentary coffee or tea. I would highly recommend that you try Borealis Salon, I don't think you will be disappointed!
