I do not recommend this place for same-sex couples. Although Dr. Johnson is supposed to feel strongly about helping same-sex couples have a child, not every doctor at this place feels this way. The only woman working there, Dr. Faber, does not provide fertility services to same-sex couples for religious reasons. That is her personal preference, but ARMS doctors claim to work as a group, and I was shocked to discover that they shuttle patients around in such a way that most patients don't realize that at least one doctor who is a part of this group is morally opposed to inseminating a woman who in a relationship with another woman. I had called in advance to make sure that they were gay friendly and they assured me they were - they did not, however, say that not all of their doctors feel that way. If you are a same-sex couple in the Phoenix area, I recommend Arizona Center for Fertility Studies instead: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=wm#sent/138bc20d02dcc2d8
(And no, I don't work at this place! ACFS is TRULY accepting of same-sex couples!)
