Went to Med Express on Greentree Road, Scott Township for an injury I incurred on the job. The doctor said I had 6 scratches on my cornea and gave me a prescription to get filled for the infection in my eye. Went to the pharmacist and was told the prescription was for eye drops and would cost me $145.00. I instructed the pharmacist to call whoever he needed for a substitution which cost me $13.00.
I would advise anybody to go directly to the emergeny room at the hospital and to stay away from Med Express. Next
Next day my eyelid was so swollen it was very hard to get the drops in. I called Med Express 3 different times to request an ointment to replace the drops. My first call was at 9:45, then 1:00, and the last one at 5 p.m. I even had the pharmacy try to call before they closed at six. I was told the doctor would have to call me back and it is now 6:30 and never heard a word from Med Express. The next time I will go directly to the hospital. I only wanted this office to change my prescription from a liquid to an ointment. The nurse could have called that in, but no one there seemed to care.
