| - This is my very first yelp review, and I'm only doing it because I feel it is necessary. Now to be clear "Luxury Suites" and "The Signature" are ran by two totally different staff, each have their own staff with the exception of valet and bell-hops. I've stayed at The Signature MGM before and had a great experience the Location and rooms are an excellent choice for families, I stayed there with a party of 5 and a new born. So I thought why not when I seen "luxury Suites" at a cheaper price. When we first arrived we noticed the cleanliness was not up to par compared the "The Signature MGM", the counters needed to be wiped off the refrigerator was not clean it had food spills from previous guest, holes in the wall, dirty carpet, light bulb needed to be changed in the master bathroom, which we told them about and it never got changed because "it was our fault" and we had HAIR in the bedding. We had them change out all of the bedding in the room, the rest of the cleanliness we just dealt with considering the price and thinking they would clean it the next morning anyway. Guess again THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! Prior to exiting for the day I even gave them a courtesy call to let them know we were going to be out for the day and it was okay for them to service the room. Yes we even turned the light on that lets housekeeping know it's okay to service, which they argued that against us. I gave these guys a call that evening to let them know and there were no staff available to clean for they only work certain hours. Okay whatever not the end of the world we got new bedding up that night( The girl I spoke with that night was very nice and apologetic) The next morning I called back and they basically said we didn't turn on the light to get the room serviced and they left a note on the door. I myself made sure when we left to turn on that light and I'm competent enough to turn on the correct option, there only two, and there was no note on the door saying the tried to come by. We planned on staying another night but after speaking with the staff in the morning they weren't helpful at all, we decided not to spend our money with "Luxury Suites" Instead we went downstairs and booked another night with "The Signature MGM" Which has a much better staff. Whomever I spoke with in the morning with "Luxury Suites" said a manager will contact me regarding the issue..that still hasn't happen. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for, and if I would've read the reviews on here prior to booking this would have never happened. Las Vegas has MANY hotels to offer, it's very competitive you think everyone would be on their "A" game but instead "Luxury Suites" starting lineup is more like a practice squad.
