My first and probably last time at Blue Blaze. Very friendly staff, lots of dogs too and thats OK. Nice atmosphere and pleasant outdoor seating. The beers are not very good especially when compared to the other local CLT breweries. They all have a homebrew taste and not a good homebrew taste either. The "American" IPA was so categorically off style I don't even know what to call it. It was extremely dark, almost brown and SUPER malty, not good at all. The Black IPA tasted like an over hopped Porter, way too roasty. You have to question a brewery that has twice as many guest taps as they do their own. I do not see these guys surviving unless they drastically rethink their beers, procedures, and recipes.
