  • This review is not based on the casino itself but solely on the movie theater and security team. Last night I attended the movie Fifty shades darker with my female friend. There were two seats left and we were eager to take them. As the movie was starting the guy and his girlfriend next to me popped open a bottle of their wine, and poured it into cups they had brought. This was not my issue. Awhile into the movie the guy kept creeping his hand over into my seat and onto my body. As I sat there petrified to confront him or to make a scene in a full dark movie theater I pondered what I should do. Meanwhile the mans girlfriend went elsewhere and he took up smoking something and blowing the smoke into his shirt. After two more times of the male touching me and continuously smoking, I decided to get up and inform security. I found an employee working the floor that called security to help assist me. When security arrived I explained what happened to a female and a male security officer. They asked me to identify the people. Okay absolutely. However I did not know they were going to walk them right past me after I identified the couple. They took them outside the door where they discussed the problem, while I told my friend we need to leave this guy keeps touching me and smoking into his shirt and I'm no longer comfortable here. As we're walking out I overhear security say they just needed to "rectify" the situation and they can go ahead and resume their place in their seats. Security informed me that my friend and I could also take our seats back, we can have our seats moved, or WE can come back for a later show time. And they will heighten security in room 3 because they didn't see it happen they can't do anything about it. I lost it. They were telling me I can return to my seat next to a guy who can't keep his hands to himself. So smoking in the movie theaters is alright too as long as you don't get caught. Touching other people you don't know in there inappropriately is fine as long as they don't see it. And as for your safety don't depend on security because the eyes of one person in a whole theater isn't enough and your word doesn't matter. I later found out that as I was screaming and crying in shock, disgust and disbelief that they just let him go, they told me they would search him. In my second talk with the female security officer she approached me and told me "It's okay" That's when I really lost it because here someone is telling me it's okay to be violated, it's okay to consume second hand smoke, it's okay to feel uncomfortable. This is my body and a strange man or women touching someone else no matter what the age is not okay. Letting someone smoke in a movie theater full of people is not okay. I highly suggest AMC movie theaters looks into the security protocol and makes some changes.
