I have always been reserving compact cars online but as always when i get to the location i would end up paying more for an upgrade or wait until the car reserved is returned in a little while. Remember i reserved online to get what i wanted and only to be told by those alibis. Worst recently, the upgrade i got, had underinflated tire but was told that it just need inflation at a nearby station, if i can wait! Due to time constraint, i just volunteered to do it myself on my way home if it's just underinflation. When i woke up the next day at my destination, the tire was already entirely dead flat!
I suggest:
1. For reservations accepted online, i was wondering if a customer service can call earlier before pick-up to be referred to another location within the radius which has the car.
2. 360 deg check should w/ customer should properly assess if there are potential roadworthiness issue before releasing. I was just lucky, thank God, that front tire did not explode on my family!
