Co-workers and I came opening day not knowing what to expect. We were their 3rd official customers and within the first few bites we knew it was our new favorite lunch spot in downtown Phoenix! Very cool tri-level space with an English pub feel. We sat in a church pew-like table on the main floor and the place was getting pretty packed around lunchtime.
We started off with an order of Scotch Eggs (my 1st time) and it was super tasty.. wish there were more than four slices but flavors did not disappoint. As for our main orders.. I ordered the Roast Beef Sarnie (like an English take of a Philly) and it was so delicious! Amazing crust, the best ingredients, and they were huge! The others ordered The Pilgrim x2 (Thanksgiving pasty) and the Oggie (the original pasty). They were all yummy, but I loved mine the most!
Loved the food so much, we recommended it to 2 other folks at work who each ordered the Reuben Pasty and they both had rave reviews. One of the co-workers even went back the next day; that's how good it was! And I plan on taking the husband this weekend so he can try, too!
Food was amazing.. service was outstanding & food did not take long to be prep'd during the lunch crowd.. Also, reasonable pricing as most Pasties were between $10-$12.. Portion is huge enough to share, but you probably won't want to share, lol! The only downside is there isn't a location near me in NW Peoria, but hopefully in the near future :)
