  • I contacted Saguaro Lock and Safe in Scottsdale regarding a part I needed for my safe. My electronic controller had failed and I couldn't get into the safe. After talking to the company that made the controller I was told how to disconnect it and replace the keypad, however, I would have to purchase the part from a dealer. So I called Saguaro Lock and Safe. They said they would have to come out to replace the controller and it would cost $260 I told them I could plug the unit in myself, it was pretty simple, they said to get the warrenty they would have to do it (which is not true as the part has a manufacturers warranty, mine had just expired). They told me if I just wanted to come and pick the part up that it would be $160. What a rip off! I purchased the part through another dealer for $60, plugged it in myself and the safe is working fine. I would never use Saguaro Lock & Safe, I felt they thought I was in a bind and they could take advantage of me.
