  • Five star airports are few and far between. But if anyone gets that title, it's definitely Charlotte Douglas. There's hardly ever any lines. You can arrive at the airport 30 minutes before your flight and be completely fine! TSA is quick and all the gates are in walking distance. There's rocking chairs which overlook planes taxing (spelling?) which is really cool. I always tell myself I'll sit in one but I never do. Good variety Of restaurants. Never eat at the dominos there - ALWAYS disappoints.
