  • I recently moved to Las Vegas and have struggled so much to find a new colorist, I'm currently travelling back to Chicago every two weeks to get my color done. Obviously this is a big problem, but I like my "natural" red hair, so I guess it's just about sacrificing - because wow! I have never gotten such bad service, except maybe at Color at Caesar's. Anyway, so my salon in Chicago recommended Peter Anthony - the owner of my salon in Chicago said he wasn't sure how good the guy was but that he had heard great things, so I scheduled a consultation. I showed up for my consultation ON TIME, waited thirty minutes, and when I went to tell the front desk to let them know I would have to leave, I was informed that Peter was VERY BUSY with a VIP BUSINESS MATTER - I scoffed at the idea that I should be made to feel that my time is not only of less value to the staff but apparently no good for them, and left. I was called a few hours later by the marketing manager who is very nice, but it appears Peter Anthony might need a new personality to mask his inability to function. The marketing manager gave me Peter Anthony's email address so I could send him my formula and see if he could replicate it, that way I wouldn't have to waste my time driving back to the salon for a consultation. Again the marketing manager was very nice and apologetic, downright embarrassed himself I guess, so I finally relented and sent him an email with my formula. It's been a week and I haven't received a reply to my email. I cannot even believe I bothered to spend the time to send the email to someone who doesn't value his clients, potential or otherwise. The sad thing is, if you do my hair well, you have earned my business and I will remain loyal and tip so much you will be excited to see me every two weeks. So, good luck. You've made this potential new regular and salon cheerleader feel like her money is no good to you - if that's the message you're trying to send, congratulations, you've got it!
