Poor customer service starts the review of American. I am not reviewing the airport just the Airlines.
When I initially tried to check in online I was prompted to pay a $25 CHECKED bag fee. I IMMEDIATELY called their customer service and was told all bags to include your 1st check in had a fee was applied to the total.
I heard of your second bag having a fee but definitely not your 1st. Well I continued and asked for some consideration and was told I needed to get there credit card or fly International.
How absurd to tell a customer who booked a domestic flight such nonsense. If I wanted to fly internationally I would have done so.
Nevertheless, I will try my best to book with a smaller and less greedy airlines when planning my next vacation.
