This is a brewery, so I'm inclined to like it. However, this bar lacks the basic elements of a brewery: unique/delicious micro brews, and people that appreciate beer. It's my opinion that the two go hand in hand.
The crowd is a result of the Ohio City "Renaissance", that has moved W 6th across the river. I often see people ordering mixed drinks at the bar or even getting bottles of bud light *tear*. It would not shock me to see a dance floor with the next time I go.
The actual building is the best part of the brewery. Spacious---with loads of seats and plenty of tables. Outside, there is a patio right next to the West Side Market that has a brick fireplace for warmth in the winter.
The food is okay---but isn't anything special. The best deal on the menu is the popcorn. The burger is standard but the curried bratwurst seems to look pretty good.
Improve on the beers and this could be four stars.
