The food is really good. I eat here everytime I'm in Vegas. This time the owner Felix stopped me at the door and told me that I did not look like a "customer" and didn't want me there. I seriously thought I was on a hidden camera prank show. He said "you don't look like a customer" and "you people come in here and act a type of way". I was alone and thought he'd mistaken me for a previous patron. I asked him if he was joking about the "you people" and the "you don't look like a customer" comments. I told him that I dine there all the time. He said "you need to understand that I'm a business owner and I don't want certain people in here". Shocked, I went to the restroom to call my husband so he could hear what was happening. I then went to place my order and the same man now behind the counter said "what's your name"? I told him my name (still in shock and waiting for cameramen to jump out). I asked his name and he said "Felix and I'm the owner". As he rang me up he said "sorry about earlier but you people really can be a type of way". I'd had enough at that point and said "had you not treated me with such a discriminatory tone I would have spend my money here". I walked out, still on the phone with my husband, and I went to the clothing store next door. After being in there for 5-8 mins Felix walked in and processed to harass me in the store next door!! I shit you not!! I have several witness. I seriously recommend that people who "don't look like customers" or fall into the category of "you people" to dine elsewhere. Horrible experience nonetheless I will continue to enjoy, just Arepas someplace else. Hey Felix..go Google the racist Starbucks incident. You may learn something. Anyone else who experience this type of harassment from this place to please message me.
