I used Two Men and a Truck last Friday. This was the worst moving experience I've had. First they were slow. I am twice the age of the two movers that showed up AND I'm out of shape however I was moving stuff faster than they were. One of the movers even made a statement that I was "out moving them". You would think that would have encouraged them to step up their pace a little bit but it did not. They took so long that I had to cut the move time short and we ended up having to make four trips of our own to finish the move. I used this company once before and the movers were hustling and moved me in less than half the time and far cheaper as they charge by the hour. I had more items then than now and I was moving 20 miles away. This current move was less thank 5 miles from my current location. When receiving my follow up call the next day to see how my move went I described this in detail and did not receive any solution to this issue but a whole bunch of excuses about how the second crew couldn't be compared to the first. The first team is the ONLY reason why I went back to this company for repeat business. The next day I received an email with a follow up survey and still no resolution. After all this they then 'accidentally' added a $40 charge to my bank account for a tip!!! They have said they will correct this charge as well they should because it was not authorized. I wonder how many others receive this 'accidental' charge? Seems like a potential fraudulent practice if it was in fact not an accident. After two sets of complaints I am not sure why they would even think that I'd be tipping the crew that showed up. If anything, I should be compensated for having to complete my own move! Very unprofessional follow up response to a far less than stellar moving experience.
